How Do We Select a Winner?

Looks play a part- but they're not everything. Short-listed applicants get an interview and if successful- a test shoot. We pay you for the test shoot, on the day of the photography.
Ensure your pictures are current and well lit. Avoid wearing hats, caps sunglasses, black clothing and excessive makeup. Gives yourself every chance to succeed.

We promote a healthy body image. The model featured on this page is the winner of our previous model search, and a size 12. She had never modelled before, and as part of her prize received a number of trips to photogenic locations throughout Australia. The Application Process

Here's How it Works:

Send in your pictures- ensure they are current. We'll look at them and write back to you within 48 hours, often sooner.
We try to imagine how you would suit our style of work, locations and finished images. Our assessment of these factors determines whether or not an interview is next. In either case, we will write to you and let you know.

What Happens Next?

If we move forward, the next step is an interview, which lasts 10 or 15 minutes. If you're happy and we're happy- we'll arrange a time for a test shoot.People who are successful at interview, will be offered a test shoot to assess their ability in front of the camera. Entrants are paid for the test shoot- the rates are determined and agreed at the interview.

Get a Paid Test Shoot!

Usually test shoots are not paid- they are a way for a photographer to assess the model's suitability for an assignment.

We believe people put more effort into something when they're being paid.

At the interview we'll work out a rate, and if your test shoot goes ahead, you'll be paid on the day of the shoot.
